Wednesday Again!

• We love to try new restaurants out and when we have a groupon it makes trying restaurants even more fun since we aren't paying full price.  We had our date night this week at an Indian Restaurant downtown Raleigh called Mantra.  At about 5:30 we walk up and see the one wall of the restaurant that is glass has multiple print offs in green that they will not accept groupon's without a reservation.... I immediately questioned going here at this point.  I pull out my groupon and nowhere on the sheet does it mention reservations.  We make sure we can in fact use our group on, the hostess that also ends up being our waitress seats us at a wobbly table.... second clue we didn't know if we should go here or not.  We ask if she could get something to put under the table to stabilize it, she comes back with a cocktail napkin and cannot get it straight.  Since there was ONE other table in their restaurant occupied I asked if we could just move to another table, we did but I could tell she was annoyed that I asked to move.  When our server brought us our drinks she gave us the drinks backwards, not knowing the difference between a IPA and a light cream ale.  Once that was over with we saw two Indian families get seated in one area of the restaurant while any other nationality was seating on the side we were on.... odd?  We also overheard other customers asking questions about the menu or spices in the dishes and the servers had to go back multiple times to find out the answers.         The portions of the food were fine but at the prices it wasn't any "spectacular" Indian cuisine.  We will stick to our usual Bombay Beijing that is walkable distance from our house that has great food and much cheaper prices.  ...end of rant
• I realized that I had my nails painted for over a month straight and when I took my polish off to change the color this week my nails were yellow!!  No joke it looked like I had Jaundice or something!  I'm letting my nails breathe this week before I buff them and give them some magnetic polish :)  (Have y'all seen that stuff?  Super cool - can't wait to try it!)
• Mid week meet ups with friend's at breweries are always fun.

• The rain is a perfectly good excuse to skip running and go get your haircut, right?  I mean I haven't had my haircut since February!!
