The look

About three weeks ago I attempted to work on the blog design/layout all my myself.  I googled a couple things, I read a few tips from other blogs, and I shared some words with html formatting.  I was getting nowhere, if I did anything that was remotely a change like I liked... it wasn't in the right place, wrong size, etc.  Eventually I was frustrated (who didn't see that coming?) and I realized I had royally messed up the blog.  I set it to a pretty plain white setting on blogger and walked away for a day or so.  When I went on to read other blogs that I follow I realized that I was crazy for thinking I could do that!!  I have no training, no experience, heck I didn't know where to put the "code" to get it to look right.

So I went to Etsy.  I searched for "blog design" and was surprised at just how many people out there offered that service on Etsy.  There were people out there that could set up a whole website, but of course I didn't need all that jazz.  I stumbled upon Haley Bragg Designs and immediately fell in love.  It was like someone took my love of clean straight lines, color, and design.  She creates some of the best layouts(in my opinion) for occasion cards, business cards, stationary, and websites.  The combination of the colors, fonts, and design elements that she uses makes me smile.  I haven't told T yet.... but I definitely know where I will be getting my Christmas cards this year.
