We have this weird area in our kitchen that is too cramped to put a table in (maybe a small bar table would fit - but we would never use it) and currently it has had an ugly generic chandelier in the middle of the room (that we hit our heads on). While we have talked about making some changes in this room, we don't have the time commitment to work on a project right now.... hopefully in the future things will calm down and we can tackle a larger project. Until then.... we found a pendant light at Target on clearance for $12 a few weeks ago. Ironically the ugly chandelier stopped working. It was just a wire that had came loose but it prompted T to switch them out.

Let there be light. We kept the cord long and swagged in over in case we do pursue our kitchen area plans in the near future otherwise we could always cut the cord and hang a few inches from the ceiling. Am I weird for liking the light circle it puts on the ceiling?
