Birchbox that is!
A few months ago I found Kate's blog, The Small Things, and learned what a Birchbox is all about. I read her blog and then checked out the website too. For $10 each month you receive 4-5 deluxe size samples of beauty products. You fill out a beauty profile and the website claims to cater to your interests. When you purchase each Birchbox you build points for future purchases of the full size products of samples.

The only thing I feel is sort of odd is that they say they cater to you based on the beauty profile but on their website they show what is in the current month's Birchbox and it was exactly what was in my box. I'm okay with every Birchbox being the same - but don't lead people on to believe they are catered to each individual.
When I first opened it Saturday night T walked by and said "that's it?" but when I showed him the prices of each sample if I were to buy them separate in a store and she realized it was cheaper. I like the idea of surprise - it's like a gift each month (wrapped in pink too!). It's fun to try new products that ordinarily I wouldn't purchase and might fall in love with!

Comes with a card that explains Birch box. On the back on the card it lets you know what samples you have and everything you could want to know about each one.

I don't think that's a rip off at all. That seems like such a fun idea. I'd be so excited to get it in the mail!
