Is that a little creepy to me? Yes. Am I surprised? Very.
When I started my blog I figured that my MIL and possibly a few of my friends would read my blog to keep up with my life (or stalk, whatever you prefer to call it). The funny thing is that I only told two of my friends that I blog, I still haven't been able to save up for Photoshop so I can really play around with the design. Since it is still very generic I don't want to tell people about it until I have been able to put my touch on it the way I would want it to be.
Speaking of putting my touch on it. I haven't shared much about "me" on here. Since someone is reading this I figured I'd share a little bit.
- I'm a planner. I plan things in my head, make lists, and envision things going "one" way (often times they don't go that "one" way).
- I have control issues, I know I mentioned this in the post here where I talked about the first six months of being married. So what do I mean by that? I would rather do something myself than watch someone else do it wrong or half a*! and then I just do it again. Is this wrong of me? Sometimes I feel I need to work on that. Lol - picture me like the crazy lady in the Target ads (jk - kinda).
- T and I met through my best friend from high school after going to a house party. I always used to tell everyone I would NEVER date a fraternity guy.... and then I married one.
- I love food...but food doesn't love me. I'm constantly struggling to make the scale go down but I hate tasteless, bland, boring food. If things are going to change I'm going to have to learn how to make the lifestyle changes that I need to drop some weight and be able to fit in all the clothes in my closet.
- I have an art degree, but rarely paint any more. That was a part of my New Year's resolution last year and I don't think I have done one piece this year. After the holidays it's on (like Donkey Kong).
- I used to be 5'5" tall and my recent doctor's visit enlightened me that I have already shrunk 1/4".... I'm only 24 and I'm already shrinking?! Great.
- I cannot stand people who don't know how to merge onto a highway, use a turn signal, or cannot comprehend what a stop sign is in a parking lot.... How do these people not get hit?
- While I love Pinterest with all my heart, I also still love having a real magazine and sticking a post it note on something I like or want to look up online, or even a project I hope to do (T hates my magazine piles - I do a monthly dump usually). I guess I'm old school because I don't want to read a magazine on an Ipad/Nook/Kindle.
- Our favorite TV shows revolve around zombies, murders, and vampires (The Walking Dead, Dexter, and True Blood). What does this mean? lol.
- T and I are both in our mid twenties.
- And in case anyone is wondering there is no multiplying in the future. We have a happy home, the two of us and the two dogs, which we often refer to as our children.
