It was so nice to have the weekend free. As y'all have heard me say before it is always our favorite to be able to come/go and do as we please. While we had no commitments we did end up entertaining at our house all three nights... yes, I'm tired lol. We are so happy and thankful to have a place where we can entertain and the friends to celebrate with (remember kids its MUCH cheaper than going out!). Sorry I don't have a ton of pictures to show you of our friends and us cooking, eating, lounging - I just think that would be weird, not to mention I don't think they would be cool with me sharing their lives via the internet. Friday night I did try a new recipe, thank you Pinterest!

They turned out great! I didn't use a Dutch oven like the recipe called for, instead just fried them in a frying pan, but they turned out tasting amazing. It was a success!
Saturday Petsmart had a grand opening at their Morrisville location and the boys got free treats, squeaky toy, and frisbee. We cheered our Wolfpack from the couch.... we know we know... it was an a** beating. We had two couples over - we had chicken and steak kabobs, mashed potatoes and mac-n-cheese (it was like Christmas morning). After our feast the boys decided they would hang out outside... why I have no idea because it was about 40 degrees? About 11:00ish they swear to this day that they heard a horse run down our street.... and of course all three ran down the street to find the "horse." We will never let them live that down :)
| I never thought FREE toys would make Slade get off the couch |
I didn't have to bed him to come when I pulled the treats out.... surprise I know!
| T dresses up even for away games :) |
Sunday I managed to plan our meals for the week.....go veggie/fruit shopping at the farmer's market, grocery store and home. We cheered the Patriots to a loss :( (Maybe we shouldn't cheer teams on?)
We did manage to hang these pictures....
They have been laying around for a few months since I couldn't decide where their perfect home should be.
I think it's perfect
Now.... about that bedroom that needs painting.... sigh.
