I typically don't have many days like today. I am simply having an "off" day as I like to call it. Nothing is really wrong, there are no crisis's, and the sun is shining. I don't really care to talk to anyone, go anywhere, or do anything. I guess I kind of bring these type of feelings upon myself. I tend to hold things in and try to act like things don't bother me and then after may occurrences of a bunch of little things I just kind of shut down? My dad had told me a few years ago that I get this from my mom. He told me that she used to try not to let the little things bother her, but if there were enough of those little things... she would all of a sudden be a bitch (sorry, lack of better words). I guess the best way to get past it is to vent and let everything off my chest...
-After my husband updated my operating system on my Mac it fails to recognize stuff and makes uploading pictures a nightmare. Each time you have to hold your mouth right, get the right temperature, and rub the corner of the monitor for it to upload and save the images in the correct spot.
-I have one job, no kids, no other real obligations and yet it is very RARE to have a weekend where we don't have commitments - I love the weekends when we simply can just relax and hang out around the house. Why is this? To go along with that - I feel like I have no time to myself. I mean to do what I would like to do rather it be paint a room, organize my nail polish, or read my magazines.
-Lately I have noticed that people tend to talk over me or interrupt me. Now I was always raised to be polite and have manners - but why are the words coming out of their mouth more important than mine? Should I interrupt them? Should I just ignore them? Whats the "right" thing to do?
-I could clean our shower twice a week and it would still get gross in less than 3-4 days :(
-My cell phone sometimes just goes black, freezes when I swipe it on, and randomly doesn't connect calls. It's a brand new phone and I'm within service - why doesn't it work?
-When you do for people - and they don't give you the time of day. It may be at work, at home, or at a store when you hold the door open for someone and then they give you to death glare like you murdered their first born child or something?!
-The office thermostat has a mind of its own. If you turn the heat on say 72, it will just continuously heat all day and it will get hotter, and hotter, and hellish hot (we're talking 83 degrees) - why? It's not old, it's programmable - it just hates its job I guess.
-When you purchase a new shirt/sweater/dress and after you wash it once iron it and what not - it will never look the same as the first time you wore it. :(
-You find a cool project you want to do in a magazine, try to find it online and the link address doesn't work or is nowhere to be found. rgh.
-How really intelligent people.....have no common sense.
-I hate making all the decisions. Ex. What are are having for dinner, what time we are doing "x" with who, what grocery store we go to, what brand of "x" to buy, etc etc... I just want to not to have to be given control of everything. I want to be the follower every now and then.
-The daily grind - it's gotten to me. I hate that I only have a few hours (as I said before feels like zero time) to myself. Throw in the daily grind of work, driving, cooking, cleaning, working out, being an adult, washing clothes.... I just wore myself out lol.
I think this just turned into a rant. I might go home and go to bed or order Chinese ?
Does anyone else have these days? Am I just crazy?
