SR updates

So the spare room is coming together, now, how quickly may be another story.

Let me tell you a few of our problems...

The desktop:  When I start a craft project and I don't finish it tends to end up on the desktop along with several other items that need to be addressed.  T has his cigars in his humidors on the desktop as well... which, we need to find a shelf or some place to put those (possibly the black shelf that is leaning on the wall of the room in the picture below).  Our main problem is storage of craft items,  I have a few BBW candles that I need to clean out so I can use them for storage.  I also need to donate some stuff, put some stuff in the attic and hall closet, and then just trash some stuff!

Curtains:  You'll notice in the picture above that we have hung the curtain rod and a painting.  The painting is going to have to be moved, I wasn't thinking when I told T to hang it centered between the wall and the window because with the curtain hanging it looks off-center.  The curtains were from our first apartment together and just a place holder until we find something that we love.  Probably in the blue, gold, or purple category.... and YES they need to be longer!  Hello there isn't going to be a flood anytime soon!

Artwork, Frames, and Shelves:  Oh my!  We have a lot of things to go on the wall we just don't know what to do with now.  There are a few frames that will go on the gallery wall in the kitchen or DR.  The real question is what to put on the wall above the couch?  I think it would be fun to put a skinny shelf with a edge and lean frames up that could easily be changed out.  I also thought about a regular shelf and then hang a few frames on the wall?  And then just to hang a piece of artwork above it?

This room has been the hardest one for us to visually see and put together in our heads.  I think it's been difficult for us to do because it's small and it's trying to be a office/workout area/craft room/extra tv room all in one.  I guess I'll just have to resort to more pinteresting for inspiration!
