Remember that I wanted to hang these to already owned frames? I had purchased them at Target MANY moons ago (probably 2006ish) and I was hoping they would still have them in stores. They probably do still have them in stores but it must be a popular time of year to purchase frames because two Target's were almost wiped clean of frames. So to the website I went... thank goodness, they have them! Luckily Target had sent me a 20% off coupon so it negated the shipping charges. These were supposed to arrive Monday (9/12/11) - wrong - they arrived Wednesday. So our project that was started Sunday looking like this....
What an accomplishment right? lol
Didn't get finished until Thursday night.... my MIL is bringing two photos of them in their twenties for me today to put in the blank frames.
Another speed bump... Remember the prints I received from my birthday here?
I purchased (2) frames that were matted to fit a 8x10 print.... nope.... it cut off both prints in weird ways so back to Michael's I went to attempt to find the odd size.... the whole way there I was thinking "positive vibrations" and then at the stop light before I turned in... "who am I kidding, my luck?" Well they are an odd size and I will have to have them custom framed. It shouldn't be too pricey since I just want a 1 1/2 inch mat with a thin metal frame. (Someone please cross your fingers!)
I did get the 3rd bedroom cleared out to store our bikes in and their pups crate!
No more boxes! Everything is in a neat pile! Next to come mounting a TV... this may take a while.
The other side of the room isn't as great - it's the stuff I don't know what to do with lol.
The guest bedroom is spotless. The nightstand only holds T's hoodies in the bottom drawer. I still can't figure out what to put in the top. I may store some magazines that I have been hoarding as T calls it. I build a stack over each month that I "need" to read... it usually takes me a while to get around to it.
I still need to figure out a more permanent option for my necklaces...
(Please don't think I purchase this many - most of these are design mags my grandmother gets and gives to me when she finishes with them)
