Beautyfix

I purchased a one time Beautyfix box because I found a code that took the cost of the box from $50 down to $20 with a coupon code I found on a vlog.  Beautyfix is a seasonal box where you pick/build your box based on the products that they offer for the season.  The program allows you to chose any 8 items you wish and there were over 40 products (at least) that I could chose (from my understanding I learned about it over a week after the selections went up).  I easily found 7 products that I really wanted to try leaving me to pick one item that was "ehh, why not" which was the facial cleanser (since it never hurts to try a nice facial cleanser).  I ordered Tuesday and it arrived Friday, this was great shipping considering it came from CA!

not the prettiest packaging - but it doesn't offend me
The goods
There was a bag that was an "extra"
  • Jonathan - Finish Control High Shine Flexible Hairspray $25
  • Bella Bronze - Olive and Grape Seed Extract Tinted Face Self-Tanner $28
  • IQ Derma - Clear Remedy Purifying Cleanser $10
  • Juice Beauty - Oil Free Moisturizer Trail Size ($7 sample, $28 for full size)
  • Bioelements - Pumice Peel deluxe sample (5.60 sample, $28 for full size)
  • Batiste - Dry Shampoo, original $5
  • Nailtiques - Nail Moisturizer and Formula Kit (couldn't find exact kit but over $25)
  • Stila - Set and Correct Powder $34
Total ~ $140 worth of products

I have to say this bag at $50 is a good deal, but I got it for $20 which literally makes it a steal!! The only complaint is that the Bioelements Pumice Peel wasn't sealed and looked like this when I opened it up.  I think I might be able to still try the product, it does feel dried out.  I was bummed that this happened because I really wanted to try this one out.  I imagine that this one probably missed the seal (or maybe it was opened?).  I contacted Beautyfix and they refunded me $5.  Great customer service.

Dried out? or Used?
It doesn't seem to be completely full either.
All the products out of their packaging to get an idea of the sizes of everything
I was probably most excited about the Stila set and correct powder because I have a red undertone to my skin (I blame my pale irish skin).  This is a pretty cool product because it isn't just a powder that will get everywhere, instead they added a twisting feature that scrapes up the powder into a tray so you only twist the amount you need to use each time.
Green, blue, and red color correcting powder
Excuse the plastic wrapper that is still on it.
Maybe for my Birthday I will get T to let me buy the $50 seasonal box again?  I think this is a great deal because I have SO many new products that I could pick out at a fraction of the cost.
