First step

I've mentioned that we have some run off issues in our backyard when a big rain comes through... and that we need to do something with the mud pit that we call a backyard.  We haven't done anything to the backyard since we moved in almost a year and a half ago (oops) but we realize how much we would appreciate grass int he backyard and we're going to give it a go.

Before we could even think about the yard, we had something else to address.  The spigot in the backyard.  (I know I told you about that Wednesday)  The plumber came and met T at the house on Wednesday.... they bonded under the house while talking about pipes and phones and he showed T just how ghetto our spigot was... especially when he barely touched it and the thing fell apart.  If we would've used the spigot it eventually would've caused a hot mess because they "rigged" the thing and it wasn't long before it wouldn't hold and a flood would have occurred!

We have a handle and it don't wobble baby (sorry - I had to)

Fenway was interested in what I was doing... he seems to think that it was play time and he was hoping to demolish another frisbee!  (He also told me he wanted grass to run off the deck on T!)

Seeing this photo - he needs to be fulminated....stat!

PS.  I am getting more and more excited for Fall because Pumpkin beer is out!!!!  This is by far my favorite type of beer and I try to get as much as I can during the three months you can find it! <3
