This weekend T's parents came to visit. We didn't do a whole lot, but enjoy each other. The dogs were awfully lazy... see below.
Fenway managed to stay in his favorite spot... underneath the buffet
Slade took everyone's seat
So I took advantage of it - and took a close up
Jackson chose to rest his head on his dad's foot
Mosby sat very daintily in front of the tv
And also wondered about the sounds he heard...

I'm not sure what it was but Saturday night Slade was extra cuddly with me. After we returned from dinner he hopped in my lap and insisted that I give him attention. I attempted to read a magazine and juggle the dog with the magazine on the arm of the chair.... I don't mind this but I have to say that it was a challenge to turn the pages, lol.

But not too happy that it took three coats on my toes and hands.... look how much of the bottle it used!
Ts dad noticed that it was warmer in the kitchen, dining room, and living room (the right side of the house) than the bedrooms and bathrooms (left side of the house). We had never thought anything of it since it had been like that at the time we moved in about 16 months ago. T's dad suggested he go underneath the house and take a look in case something was wrong.... and boy was it wrong. There were several places that the insulation was missing around the duct work, some was laying on the ground, and there was even a gaping hole!
It gets better...
At the time we purchased our house we had a "handyman" repair several items on the punch list of the inspection. "Repair/Replace all duct work" obviously did not get completed. I was furious! I think I turned bright red in a matter of seconds! I immediately began looking for the email/excel sheet of all the items we had agreed upon to be fixed. T luckily had it saved on his computer so I emailed our realtor and the "handyman" since the "handyman" was her suggestion that he fixes the majority of all items on her punch list. Surprisingly they both responded within two hours. She was very helpful and supported finding an answer while when the "handyman" responded he suggested that we had rodents that did this.... question... how would rodents get in our crawl space when the door has been closed and all the vents are secured? Take a look at the photos below (especially the one with the hole) and let me know HOW this can be considered taken care of in any way/shape/form?
* I should also include we caught that he attempted to skip out on many items that were not he punch list and it took over two weeks for him to complete the punch list. We (stupidly) hired him to replace our deck and what was quoted to be a three day job, turned into OVER a four week job, it was the deck from hell - we would have to call to ask when they were coming to complete the job and someone might show up 4-5 hours later and stay for an hour and then leave after doing very little work.
