Birchbox: June

This month's Birchbox arrived MUCH earlier than any other box I have received, I almost think it was a mistake?  I usually don't get mine until after the 15th!!  This month the theme of the box was Jet Set which was all about products that help a sista out while traveling.

What was in my box:

• Jouer - Luminizing Moisture Tint: This tinted moisturizer was on the small side (the small black tube) but had more than enough for two maybe three applications.  I would love to say that I could try out this shade, but, Bronzed was slightly too dark for my face (unless I get all crazy like the tanning mom).  

A little too "aluminizing" for my face... I don't need help looking dewy. 

And you can see that it's a tad too "orangey" for my completion too.  

• Beautyblender - Blendercleanser:  A soy based cleanser with lavender scent.  I am in desperate need of cleansing my brushes.... but then again I am in desperate need of some brushes, my brushes are at least three years old and with the exception of washing them out with warm water there wasn't been much cleaning action. 
• Comodynes - Self-Tanning Intensive:  Each of these tanning towels are said to be good for one full body and face use.  Birchbox gave us two, so I plan to help my inner Irish girl out and try these babies out... probably Thursday night after exfoliating in the shower.  
• theBalm cosmetics - Stainiac:  This is an amazing stain if you want just a touch of color, enough to make it look like you have some color to your lips but not overdoing it.  It's surprising that this stuff goes on so smooth, almost like a dye, and is not sticky.  The sample size is about half size of the full size but perfect to fit into my wallet or clutch.

• Coola - Cucumber Matte Mineral Face SPF 30:  I will confess that I do not use sunscreen daily, I don't even use moisturizer everyday, but I will give this one a try and see if my face loves or hates it.  The shine free finish sounds promising, but usually most of it clog my pores an breaks me out regardless of what sunscreen promises.  Coola hopefully will be better at $36 for 1.7 oz it's pricey. 
• Modcloth - headband:  I received a red and white polka dotted hand band with wire.  I don't own any headbands but this one might just get worn to breakfast or running errands.  There was a $10 off $75 your purchase from Modcloth.com.  Valued at $14 and a Lifestyle "extra" it's definitely the best extra I have received in a box. 
• John Varvatos - Star USA:  Birchbox had extra cologne from Birchbox man last month so they decided to include a sample for your significant other, now T has two of these, hope he likes them!
