It's Monday and it is still the weekend! I cannot tell you how great it is to be on the couch cuddled up with my boys watching Girls. I have to say it's been a nice little weekend.

Friday we both got off work early at 3.... and I attempted to lay out in the backyard to get a little sun (you know a "base tan"). T was uber productive hanging two frames on the wall. We got these prints two weeks ago at The Handmade Market, they are two hand printed guitar prints. One of my girlfriend's, Katelyn, came with us out to Ruckus for dinner and to listen to Chris Overstreet.

Saturday morning I let Katelyn talk me into playing tennis at 8am.... little did I know we were going to be playing for 2 hours. I learned that I need to work on my racket handling, lol. We pooled it up the remainder of the day.... literally from 12-8. The sunscreen was bad or I completely forgot how to put it on properly because I have some of the most random burns I have ever had from the sun. Epic Fail. Of course I'm glad we got some sun since Sunday and Monday were cloudy and rainy. After a full day of sun T wasn't up to grilling.... so I did.... for the first time ever. Not too bad for my first attempt, little did I know that his grill has a back burner so the edges of the peppers/onions and the potatoes were a little... burned to say the least.

Sunday T and I went out to breakfast. Cafe Carolina, we haven't been here in almost a year I want to say and I forgot how good it was, I'll go ahead and say that the breakfast was definitely my "splurge" of the weekend because I'm quite sure I consumed enough calories for the whole day in one meal. The rest of the day consisted of lounging around, catching up on laundry, and relaxing. We did have some of our friends over and had some amazing BBQ chicken (complete with T grilling under the umbrella). It was kind of humorous, we were all sitting out back on the deck and it started to get darker and darker, I suggested we go inside and T of course blew it off... not even a minute after we bring out stuff inside it totally down poured!

While we were in the yard, pre down pour, the boys enjoyed a peanut butter stuffed hoof, and Slade exerted all of his energy to chew his and to find ways to get Fenway's too. He was worn out, we found him on the couch later int he night....
