T's parents came down to visit this past weekend. Since I love me a list - we'll hit the highlights of the weekend list style.
- Dinner at Firebirds, T's moms favorite. I was even lucky enough to have my water knocked on me so while we were dining I felt as if I had peed my pants!
- T's dad and T added lattice around our deck so our four legged babies can no longer go under and get muddy OR attempt to dig to China.
- T's mom crocheted us an adorable wreath that I originally found on Pinterest. This was her choice of project since I got a good idea she didn't want to remove wallpaper. (ONE day that wallpaper will be removed... one day)
- I started on a shim mirror.... and ran into a few problems that I will share later this week.
- Visited Gigi's cupcakes.... and felt guilty 800 calories later.

| My favorite part, opening the box to see them! |
- Finally fixed the extension cord issue on our deck for our string lights.
Instead of walking out to trip over the cord, it now promptly stays in it's home.
- Ran a few errands.... aka. went to our favorite stores (Home Depot, Target, Lowes, Michael's and World Market)
- Repaired our shrubs next to the side door, yes I said repaired. T's mom suggested that we spray the trees green since I have already replaced them and they have died both times.

| Nobody will ever know.... :) |
- Learned how to sew. I almost broke the sewing machine the first time I sat down in front of it, lol. (beginners luck? or lack there of!)
 |
| My least favorite part of sewing - pinning everything. Not to be confused with pinning on Pinterest, which I happen to LOVE. |
- Added trim balls onto dishtowels.
- I also managed to put the sewing machine away to it's home in the third bedroom! Granted it's home is just on the desktop, but at least there was room for it on the desktop!! I went through and made room for sewing supplies in an organizer next to the desk so all the sewing goodies won't float around the house and get lost.
- Cheered the Wolfpack into the sweet 16!! This is the first time since 2005!! I'm very excited and hopeful for my Pack!
- The dog's collars and my March Birchbox came!! (more on those later this week too)
This weekend was gorgeous outside on Saturday (when it called for 50% rain) and then on Sunday was overcast and looked like the bottom could fall out.... so we should've thought about planting flowers on Saturday instead of Sunday. Flowers will have to wait.... the empty/dead pots will have to look that way a bit longer!!
