Thank you Pinterest! (yet again)
I found out about this great site for dog stuff. Mimi Green. They have a ton of adorable clothing, beds, collars, leashes, etc. It would be perfect for female dogs since they have so many designs.
What caught my eye was the tag less dog collars. When our dogs are at home we don't leave their collars on because when they move around all we hear is the jingling of their collars. We typically only put their collars on for walks or when we go to our parents houses. There lies the issue, when we are at our parent's houses the minute one hears the other's collar its like a doggie alarm clock and they spring out of bed.... expecting us to get up regardless of the time. So we decided that since the dogs had their collars for almost three years it was worth spending the $$ to get them new collars. Not to mention we don't have to pay for new tags too.
Slade got a yellow collar and Fenway got a Teal collar. We'll update you on what we think of them after they come in a week or so!!
These are so neat! My dad has a 120 lb. chocolate lab who has a cow-print collar and, for whatever reason, refuses to wear anything else. It's like he feels naked without it. Silly pup!
ReplyDeleteWhen we pull the collars out of the drawer where they are stored the dogs know they are going on a walk or on a car ride. It's too funny. I've read that some dogs get used to things and feel comfortable - maybe it's like his baby blanket? :)
