It's time to make our MB.... more "Ours". Right now we have the basics (king bed, dresser, nightstands, and a tv) but it all still seems pretty generic. Yes we have a pretty loud duvet cover, and others that get switched out throughout the year. I want to add some personal touches that makes it more functional for us and a little more put together. I think it will always be changing and evolving (which can only be expected, right?) but having lived here almost a year and this is all we have... we need to get busy!
We got this huge mirror a few weeks ago. I am IN LOVE being able to see my (full) self before I leave the house now! I'm torn between painting the frame or leaving it as is? Maybe gold? or ORB?
I've also thought about finding/making a small chest there for additional storage and a catch all for jewelry?

Could I pull off one large picture over the headboard? We only have 8' ceilings so it may be a bit tight. I had saved this photo a while ago and for the life of me have no idea where it was from.
I like the bright colors in the painting above the bed and then more neutral work on the sides.

Our current laundry organizer has seen better days. I would like to make something similar to this but add doors with pretty hardware. Maybe this would be good to go where the mirror is?
