Our Weekend

This weekend T and I both were sick.  (But we're fine now)
I felt like I had some sort of stomach bug on and off on Friday, but I still managed to log 2.62 miles Friday afternoon before it really set in on me.  After taking a quick nap and drugging myself with Tylenol and a Anti-nausea pill.... I was okay.  We went over to a friend's bon fire and it couldn't have been more perfect.  It really made me think of bon fires in Spooners Creek back in high school.  These cooler nights are now perfect weather to have one.
I even roasted a gigantic marshmallow
T woke up Saturday morning sick... sinus pressure, nauseous, dizzy... etc.  I seriously thought we wouldn't make it to the game, but after resting the AM we made it to the tailgate promptly at 10:30AM (we were troopers).  While we were both sort of running on empty we still had a great time tailgating and at the game (thank goodness NCSU won).
I was more than ecstatic I remembered my sunglasses this week!

Sunday my grandparents came up for a visit.  My grandmother likes to tell me what we should do with our house which is adorable.  It would be great if we could do everything we wanted to overnight with imaginary money, but unless there is a money tree in our backyard I haven't found yet it won't be happening any time soon.  She caught word that the houseplants she gave me were no longer living (for many months now) and this is what she brought to me.  In her words it is important to have living plants in your house.  I agree - I like it - I just wish I could keep them alive!
Yes, she put the snake plant in a box so there would be no dirt in her car.

We also stocked up on candy for Halloween.  We'll see how much is left for Halloween in three weeks!  Thus far I have only had one carmel apple sucker (a weakness).  The Snickers and the Carmel Apple Suckers are my weakness - the rest is eh.  T has killed some of the Sour Patch Kids.
We finally decided to put the new duvet cover on the bed.  We washed the mattress cover and pillow case covers, I'm ashamed to say that I have forgot to wash these in a month or two (bad wife).  We also flipped the mattress, which next time we should record because it's quite humorous.
Fenway approves.  I need to work on my photo skills because our room is not white, but bluish grey.
This is Fenway helping me get a close up. More like "whatcha doin?"
There are a ton of fun colors I can't wait to bring out!

This is the last week of softball (I can't wait to have my Monday and Wednesday nights back) AND.... This coming weekend we have nobody coming to visit and we are free!  I can't wait to work on some projects that we have been wanting to tackle!!!  Anybody else excited for the weekend (even though it is Monday?)
